WHITTIER ALASKA 26 JULY 2008

On 26 July 2008, another trip to PWS was made.  This time I took a few guys I work with along to see if we could put some halibut in their freezers.  On board was Ray Lego (a guy that went with us to Flat Horn a few years ago), Keith Long (this is his first season in Alaska), and a guy we call Riley (Keith's roommate).  It was my first rainy trip out in the "Wild Occupation", it was very comfortable.  We floated out to a few of my usual halibut spots, we all caught fish, we were one shy of the limit.  We also picked up a few yellow-eye rock fish.  We had a good day, and put fish in all the freezers.
