WHITTIER ALASKA 13 JUNE 2009

On 13 June 2009, we made the 5th trip of the year to Whittier to Halibut fish. I took a total of 6 people this time, that is the most I have ever had on the boat at one time. We were packed pretty good, but it wasn't to bad, comfort wise. With 6 people on board, it allows the fish limit to be 12 halibut. I have never put that many fish (Halibut) on the boat at one time either. The crew included; myself, Brian Riley, Keith Long, Justin Silva, Adam Sneve, and Derek Gilbert. We had good weather and a smooth boat ride. We fished until we ran out of bait, we were looking for a bigger fish. We did get one fish about 40 pounds and we lost one fish about 60-70 pounds. We got all 12 of our fish and all-in-all had a real good time.
